Helllllllllloooooooooo Beautiful Humans!!!
How are YOU this fine Friday??? I feel the hold of Corona Virus lifting ever so gently and am inviting the energy of Healed and Whole into this Earthly Space.
I don't know about You, but I have been experiencing issues with the illusion of control as we transition into a new way of being. In fact, the current challenges I've been experiencing brought me back to a childhood memory of how I really hated cleaning my parents bathroom. My dad was over 6 feet tall and stood up to pee. I won't go into details, but you can imagine the "splash effect" this would have had on the floor surrounding the toilet, but I digress.
It's so interesting when unconscious thoughts rise to the surface after many years. Sometimes you don't even remember feeling that way during that time of your life. The thing that bothered me the most about feeling into this experience is that I did not have a choice whether I wanted to clean up after another human being. I also became aware that sometimes my brain thinks other people should be more aware and clean up after their Self that same as I do... there's that "control" thing again... And, I see the opportunity to let go to the self-importance in believing that my way is the only way. I might believe that my way is more efficient and it doesn't mean it's the best. I see currently how I might be able to speak more lovingly when sharing about something that I'd like to change or do different with someone too.
Let's be honest... Most of us don't enjoy looking at the emotional baggage we're carrying or the shit story we're telling that is creating our environment. We don't even want to be responsible for our part in it all when it doesn't feel "good", but BEing Aware involves BEing OK with who you are, what you've done and how you choose to move forward. BEing Aware is also about sitting with the "ugly" parts and truly welcoming them to the surface to feel them once more in order to release them for good, or at least begin the process of letting go of what no longer serves. We are ALL worthy of these beautiful opportunities to shed another layer and evolve deeper into our Authentic Self without judgement, fear or doubt. The more we are able to let go and set our intentions to the way we desire to experience the world and our Self, the easier it is for the Universe (Energy) to reach Us.
So what is coming up for YOU today, in this moment? What is this experience of shelter in place helping you bring to the surface to release? The process is simple. First, we ACKNOWLEDGE the feelings or memories coming up. Second, we WELCOME the feelings and experience. Third, we BREATHE deeply. Fourth, we RELEASE all of it with the breath out and the vision of it leaving. This is an easy meditation that creates a space in the mind for the possibility of letting go. You can practice it when ever something is up for Review and Release.
WASH. RINSE. REPEAT.
