HOLIDAYS AND ROLLERCOASTERS

Hello Loves,

How are Y'all doing?

I continue to ride the waves of emotions... Life just isn't the same without my little man, Mr. Lido. When your constant companion of 12 years leaves the planet... things just feel downright weird. In the last week, two friends have lost their dogs and one just found out that their pup has cancer. It makes me wonder what these wonderful BEings are cooking up in the unseen... I imagine they are continuing to BE as Magical as they were here on Earth. I continue to allow myself to grieve and cry when the feelings arise and then bring my focus back to the love that I received from my little unconditional being and it allows me to continue moving forward.

Remember, for many people, the holidays can feel very stressful, sad, and lonely... even if they haven't lost someone recently. Let's all do our best to BE Kind, Gentle, and Compassionate with our Selfs, Friends and Family ❤️

I am sharing a recording below that I made with the intention of helping our lower energy centers to open and release any emotions/traumas that may be held there. I listened to it this morning and found it be very helpful ❤️

Use your earbuds or headphones for best sound quality and CLICK HERE to listen ❤️

As you're listening, notice any sensations as you consciously choose to be present in your body and with your thoughts.

Are you able to release the thoughts?

Are you able to allow your body and mind to relax?

Give your Self permission to let go and allow what is in each moment during your meditation and continue practicing this in your daily experiences. I encourage us all to practice being more fully aware of how we're feeling in each moment and allowing ourselves to shift the focus if we discover that we are not aligned with something or someone. I guarantee we will all feel lighter and more capable of moving through life as we consistently practice this way of BEing ❤️

As we near the end of this month, I want to give another shout-out to all the incredible humans who have donated to our non-profit organization, The Adara Collective. We've managed to raise $1,280 towards our GoFundMe goal of $10,000 by December 31st!

Adara Collective is also participating in Giving Tuesday on November 28th next week and donations can be made directly at the GoFundMe link above ❤️

We are actively seeking a company or individual willing to match the donations we receive that day. If you or your organization are interested, please reach out to us... It's not too late!

This is an exciting opportunity to make a profound difference in the lives of incarcerated adults/children and at-risk youth through our transformative Sound Healing and Self-Awareness Workshops. We believe that every individual, regardless of their circumstances, deserves a chance to heal, grow, and find inner peace.

Imagine a world where the power of sound can break the chains of trauma, release the weight of past mistakes, and create a harmonious path towards rehabilitation. This is the vision that drives our organization, and we are determined to bring the healing benefits of sound to those who need it most—incarcerated adults/children and at-risk youth.

Through these workshops, we offer a unique and innovative approach to rehabilitation. Sound has an incredible ability to penetrate the deepest layers of our being, unlocking emotions, and facilitating profound healing. By introducing techniques, such as vibrational therapy, movement, breathwork, and mindful meditation, we provide a safe space for incarcerated individuals to explore their inner selves, release emotional wounds, and embark on a journey of self-discovery.

The benefits of these workshops extend far beyond the momentary experience. Incarcerated individuals who have participated in our programs have reported increased emotional regulation, improved communication skills, heightened self-esteem, and a greater sense of personal responsibility and safety. They have shared stories of newfound faith, transformed perspectives, and a desire to rebuild their lives upon release, which we support outside of the prisons as well.

We are relying on the generosity and compassion of individuals like you to make these workshops a reality. Your contribution will directly impact the lives of incarcerated adults and children, offering them an opportunity for growth, self-awareness, and personal transformation.

Your donation will enable us to provide the necessary classes, supplies, and experienced facilitators to conduct these workshops within correctional facilities. Together, we can uplift spirits, inspire, and create a ripple effect of positive change that extends far beyond prison walls.

Imagine the smiles on the faces of participants as they discover the power of their own voices, the peace that resonates within, and the strength to rewrite their future. Your support will not only create opportunities for healing, it will contribute to building safer communities and fostering a more compassionate society.

Furthermore, we're launching a new campaign to invite "Monthly Sustainer Members" who are able to commit to giving $5, $10, $15, or $20 (or more) per month to support the continuous offering of our Transformational Movement, Breathwork, Sound Meditation and Self-Awareness classes. These resources are shared with incarcerated children and adults, as well as at-risk high school students. As of October, Adara Collective has started facilitating workshops at Travis, Elgin, Hays, Live Oak, Pride, and LDMC alternative high schools every week! Adara continues to serve incarcerated communities at Travis State Jail and Lockhart Coleman Unit weekly as well. Here's how we support these Communities:

  • We share rehabilitative practices like sound healing, meditation, emotional regulation, breathing techniques, movement, and more, empowering individuals to express their truth without reacting impulsively.

  • We provide essential resources for successful reintegration, such as mentorship and education on healthy relationships.

  • We create safe space and opportunities for growth and transformation, enabling individuals to forge new lives with improved communication skills and conflict resolution techniques.

  • We actively work to reduce recidivism rates by addressing the root causes of involvement in the system, offering resources and support to promote well-being and success.
