What is Energy Healing?
Energy Healing is accessing the infinite energy source of the Universe through a variety of techniques and technology, but mainly, it is our intention. The process promotes healing and restores our bodies to their natural state: Healed and Whole. We are ALL able to access this energy (God, Source, Universe) but society has conditioned us to believe that this is not possible. Humans have been taught that their innate wisdom and ability to connect is not real and this simply is not true.
Through Reiki, sound healing, spiritual counseling and a variety of other practices, Jessica supports her clients and community in healing all their bodies including: mental, emotional, physical and energetic. Most importantly, she helps them simply remember what they truly are… Unconditional Love. She helps you see the energy behind what you are experiencing physically by acknowledging your experience. And with acknowledgment, the person is able to validate themselves and take responsibility for their actions. This is the first step in the healing process.
1What Is Sound Healing?
Sound healing has been used for thousands of years across the world to access cells on a deeper level. There are many methods of healing with sound: mantras, chanting, drumming, and gongs, with the human voice perhaps being the most powerful instrument of all. Sound healing is a powerful tool recognized by the cells we’re made of and is used to communicate with our energetic body. Sound uses vibration to re-harmonize and balance the cells back to their natural frequencies.
A sound healing session can be tailored to work on supporting and/or resolving different issues. Crystal singing bowls work with our intention to accelerate this healing process. Based on Vedic medicine we work with the notes of the musical scale. Each instrument playing a different note and each note works with a different area of the body, which corresponds with each of our chakras (energy centers). When an organ or body part is healthy, it vibrates with its natural frequency. When the vibration is out of harmony, we experience dis-ease, dis-comfort and pain. When sound is projected with intention into the dis-eased area correct harmonic patterns and vibrations can be restored.
The chart below maps out the energy centers of the human body.
2What is Reiki?
Reiki is a technique that accesses the body’s own innate healing capabilities. It is administered by a practitioner placing their hands on the different energy centers or chakras within a person. It is a practice that helps move stuck energies like anger, resentment and frustration. When these unloving feelings are held within the cells for long periods of time they can manifest physical dis-ease and pain.
A Reiki session is usually very relaxing and can even feel euphoric. However, the technique also helps to bring feelings to the surface and may be emotional at times. The practitioner works in the highest integrity to assist in the movement of these patterns and feelings that no longer serve us. It is a safe, simple and natural way of healing.
Everyone has this ability to heal themselves. We’ve just been trained to believe we’re not able. Reiki is complimentary to any treatment a person may be receiving. It helps to accelerate the time it takes to heal by allowing the body to be in deeply relaxed states of being. It is always beneficial and promotes recovery.
3What is spiritual counseling?
Spiritual counseling helps people to understand their purpose here in this life. The process may include overcoming fears, pain and discomfort, or belief systems that are no longer serving. These sessions involve talking through what the person is experiencing in their physical world and seeing how their energy is contributing to it. We talk about how to practice new patterns and thoughts and a new way of being. By changing our perspective of our experiences we are able to change the energy we are putting into them… And in doing so, we change our environment.
4What is distant healing?
We are more than just our physical body. We have an energetic body that can be accessed from anywhere, at any time. We are made up of our auras (energy fields), chakras (energy centers) and meridians (energy highways). The energy fields take energy in, the chakras break it down, and the meridians distribute it throughout the body.
During this type of session, the practitioner and client have a conversation over the phone to discuss how the person is feeling and what they would like to address. They set a time to connect, usually when the client intends to sleep and then the work begins. The practitioner may use a picture or a proxy for the person to focus on areas discussed. They will schedule a time to talk about the session the next day.
